To ensure legal credibility and effective hiring practices, we recommend that clients conduct a formal job analysis and validation study as part of their selection system. ReviewNet sessions should be used to provide direction and assist in the evaluation of a candidate's technical skills and knowledge.
As always, scores on a Q-Set are only one part of job performance and should never be used as the sole determinant for hiring, placement or promotion.
Standards and statistics for ReviewNet sessions are computed for each Q-Set, which may or may not directly apply to a particular job position.

2. To get a more details about a Q-Set, click on the Q-Set Description link or the Edit button to view a summary.
1. Click on the GO button next to Add New Job Position.
2. Enter the job title and its description.
3. Select the default Interviewer.
4. Select the position type as Standard and click on Next
5. Select the Default Q-Set(s). (This is the assessment or assessments you will most likely be using for this position.) To select more than one Default Q-Set hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard.
6. Click on the Finish button.
a) Click on the Show button next to Job Position options. Select the Default Q-Set Required box to automatically administer the same Q-Set(s) each time, or leave unchecked to allow other tests to be administered.
b) Un-check the Allow Alternate Q-Set Questions box if you want to disable the swapable question feature within the Q-Set.
c) Check the Include Self-Assessment box if you wish to have your candidate participate in a self-assessment.
d) Check the Time Limit box and enter the time if you want the candidate's test to end after a certain number of minutes.
e) Check the Disable Test Statistics box if your candidate should not be included in percentile calculations (i.e. if the candidate has no relevant skills).
f) Click on the Show button next to Interviewer and Candidate Comments. Enter a standard note or instructions to be emailed to the Candidate and the Interviewer along with their passwords and session information. (This note can be modified for each candidate session.)
g) Click on the Show button next to Results Email Options. Select the options that you would like to include in all email results for this position.
h) Enter a custom message if you would like a customized message included with the candidate's results for this position.
i) Check the box next to Send Results to Candidate if you would like the candidate to receive their results. (It is advisable not to send the results to candidates.)
j) Enter an email address to which you would like all results sent. Keep in mind that you can select any two users to automatically receive the results when you set up the session.
k) Click on the Show button next to Self-Selection Options. Check the Allow Candidate to Choose Test box. You must contact ReviewNet to initiate the self-select position
l) Click on the Show button next to Survey Options. Select what information you would like to appear in the Pre and Post-test surveys. Optionally, you can also chose to include a Pre or Post- test Survey Q-Set from the drop down list of survey Q-Sets available to you.
A SmartFit Position allows you to choose the topics in an assessment and rate their importance. The number of questions in each topic will be determined based on how the candidate rated his or her skills compared to how you rated the skills in the position. You will automatically receive "job fit" scoring to show how closely your candidate matches your position.
1. Click on the GO button next to Add New Job Position.
2. Enter the job title and its description.
3. Select the default Interviewer.
4. Select the position type as SmartFit, check the box next to JobFit report type and click on Next.
5. Select the Default Q-Set. (Master Skills Q-Sets include topics from multiple disciplines)
6. Enter the number of questions you would like to appear in the assessment. (Any number over 40 questions is charged as 2 sessions)
7. Enter your optional position preferences and click Next.
8. From the drop down boxes next to the chosen topics, choose the Importance Level (how important this topic is for the job requirement) and the Minimum Requirement (how much experience you expect your candidate to have on each topic).
9. Click on the submit button.
A FlexSpec Position will allow you to choose what topics will appear in your candidate's assessment and optionally receive scoring to show how closely your candidate matches your position.
1. Click on the GO button next to Add New Job Position.
2. Enter the job title and its description.
3. Select the default Interviewer.
4. Select the position as type FlexSpec.
5. Optionally (recommended) check the box next to JobFit report type to receive a report to show how closely your candidates match your job requirements and click Next.
6. Select the Default Q-Set (Master Skills Q-Sets include topics from multiple disciplines).
7. Enter the number of questions you would like to appear in the assessment.
8. Enter your optional position preferences and click Next.
9. Select what topics you would like to appear in the assessment by entering the percentage of questions needed from each topic (leave the box blank next to topics you do not wish to include).
10. If you selected JobFit, select the importance Level (how important this topic is for the job requirement) and the Minimum Requirement (how much experience you expect your candidate to have on each topic) from the drop down boxes next to the chosen topics.
11. Click on the Finish button.
You must contact ReviewNet for initialization.
1. Click on the GO button next to Add New Job Position.
2. Enter the job title and its description.
3. Select the default Interviewer.
4. Select the position type as Standard and click Next.

6. On the positions options select show next to self-selection options.
7. Check the box next to Allow candidate to choose test (A ReviewNet representative will enter the file name for you.)

2. Select the Position from the drop down box.
3. Optionally enter the Candidate's Last Name (if the candidate's information has already been entered).
4. Click on Search.
5. Select a Q-Set(s) from the drop down box (unless if the position has a default Q-Set). To select more than one Q-Set hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard.
6. Check the time limit box if you want the Candidate's test to be stopped once a time limit is reached and enter a time limit (we recommend that you allow 2 minutes for each question).
7. Check Include Self-Assessment box if you would like the candidate to rate their skill-level on the topics in the assessment.
8. Select New next to the candidate box to enter a new candidate's information (First and Last name, User Name, Password and email address) or Select the Candidate(s) from the drop down box. Or select an existing candidate from the drop down list. To select more than one candidate hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard.
9. Select an Interviewer from the drop down box.
10. Enter additional comments to be sent to Candidate and Interviewer (this is optional).
11. Check the E-mail Notification box for the Candidate and Interviewer.
12. Select to whom the Candidate's scores will be sent from the drop down boxes (you may choose to have the scores sent to one individual or two).
13. Select what you would like to include in this candidate's email results report.
14. Click on the Submit button.

2. Enter the search criteria to find the group of candidates and click on Search.
3. Check the Tag box next to multiple session results to send more then one. Then select the New Sessions box at the bottom of the page next to Action With Tagged Sessions.
4. Select the position from the drop down box and hit Search.
5. Select the assessment that you would like each of the candidates to take from the drop down box.
6. Continue selecting the remainder of the session options and hit submit.

2. Enter the Candidate's name and email address.
3. Passwords will automatically be assigned to the Candidate unless you type a password in the boxes (you do not need to uncheck the auto generate boxes if you type a password).
4. Check the box that reads Allow test choice.
5. Enter the number of sessions.
6. Select the position from the drop down box.
7. Click on the Submit button.

2. Enter Search Criteria. You may search by Last Name, Position, Q-Set, Date, and Interviewer. You can search by as little or as much of this information as you would like.
3. Click on the Search button.
4. To review the Candidate's scores as well as Percentiles, click on the Evaluation option under the drop down box. You may also view, print and add comments to the evaluation.
5. To view the individual question times and levels, click on Question option under the drop down box.
6. Click on the questions' go button to view individual questions.
7. To view the candidate's personal profile, click on the Candidate option under the drop down box.
8. To schedule the candidate up for another assessment, click on the New Session option under the drop down box.
Send results to your client, colleagues or hiring managers any time after the Candidate has completed the assessment.
1. Click on the GO button next to Access ReviewNet Sessions.
2. Enter the Candidate's Last Name and other search criteria and click on Search.
3. Click on the Email Results option under the drop down box to send one result at a time OR check the Tag box next to multiple session results to send results of more then one candidate or select the "Tag All" button to select all sessions.. Then select the Email results box at the bottom of the page next to Action With Tagged Sessions.
4.Enter the email addresses (separated by semi-colons), subject line and message.
5.Select what you would like to include in the results.
6.Select the email style (text or html)
7.Click on the Send Now button.
Compare a selection of candidates scores. Can be used for tracking skills development for a group or individuals.
1. Click on the GO button next to Group Scores.
2. Select the Position, Q-Set and the date ranges for the groups and hit submit a bar graph will appear depicting the group's test scores for the two time periods selected.
Note: To use this feature to track skills development and training effectiveness you should schedule the individuals for a session in a position set up for this purpose. Then after time has lapsed or the training is complete, schedule the same group of individuals for the same session in the same position.
Get a summary report identifying strengths, competencies and weaknesses of an identified group. Can be used to identify training and hiring needs for project teams.
1. Click on the GO button next to Access ReviewNet Sessions.
2. Enter the search criteria to locate the group members and click on Search.
3. Check the "Tag" box next to each individual that you would like to include in the skills summary, or select the "Tag All" button to select all sessions, and click on the Group Summary button at the bottom of the page.
4. A bar graph will appear summarizing the group's strengths, weaknesses and competencies.
Create a second session for the candidate to complete consisting of questions that the candidate answered quickly and correctly to confirm that the candidate completed the test honestly.
1. Click on the GO button next to Access ReviewNet Sessions.
2. Enter the search criteria to locate the session you wish to verify.
3. Select Verify from the drop down next to the session.
4. Choose how many questions you would like to include in the verification session.
5. Check the send email box if you wish to send an notification email to the candidate.
6. Hit the submit button.
Export results in a Comma Delimited or XML file format for use in a database outside of ReviewNet such as an applicant tracking system.
1. Click on the GO button next to Access ReviewNet Sessions.
2. Enter the search criteria to find the results you wish to export and click on Search.
3. Check the Tag box next to the sessions you wish to export. Then select the Export results box at the bottom of the page next to Action With Tagged Sessions.
4. Enter the email addresses (separated by semi-colons), subject line and message.
5. Select what file type you would like the results to be sent.
6. Click on the Send Results button.
ReviewNet evaluations give a detailed assessment of a Candidate's knowledge, skills and experience. Results are given on a high level basis showing how the Candidate scored on the assessment overall with drill downs to show how the Candidate scored on Topics and individual questions in the assessment. Results are instantly computed on a number of measures including: RN Rating, percentages, percentiles, time and date statistics, Interviewer evaluation comments, Job Fit rating, Topic Strengths, Topic evaluation, question details, and Candidate provided information. Reviewing the results on all levels is important when judging a Candidate.
